We understand that a new pool or pool renovation can be a significant investment. That's why we offer financing options to help make your dream pool a reality.
We offer 2 different pool types. An inground vinyl liner pool, as well as the Fiberglass pool. There are multiple types of inground pools including vinyl liner, fiberglass and gunite {sprayed concrete} pools. Each has their pros and cons depending on where you are located within the United States. Here in Ohio, the vinyl liner pool is very popular due to the freezing and thawing cycles we have during the winter months. With proper care, you can expect to get 10-12 years of service from your liner. When it’s time to replace the liner, it’s as simple as draining the pool, cutting out the old liner, make any minor repairs if necessary, and install the new liner and refill with water. This process is suggested to be done by a pool professional, as it does require some special equipment to do it properly. On average the vinyl liner pool is the least expensive of the inground pool options, followed by the fiberglass insert pool and finally the Gunite pool. We chose to install the vinyl liner and fiberglass pools as they are the least expensive of the three options for the average family, and we’re just like you- hard working average folks who want to be able to provide your family a great pool at the best price possible.
Once we have sat done with our customers and confirmed the exact layout and options they desire (this is multiple steps, we want to make sure you are getting exactly what you want), we will order the pool. No excavation will begin until every single piece has been delivered to your home and confirmed to be in good condition and ready for use. The last thing we want to do is dig a big hole in your yard, only to find something missing or broken. Unfortunately this does happen on occasion during the delivery process, which is why we will inspect every piece upon delivery.
Once the excavation begins, you can expect, on average 2 weeks until the pool is completely installed and ready for use. We understand that this is a significant investment to your property, and take our time to make sure everything is squared, leveled and placed exactly as it should be. Believe it or not, some contractors will skip these steps, assuming that the excavator was absolutely perfectly level and square. I assure you, they were very close, but never perfect. That takes time and dedication by the pool installer to assure its perfect. Ever look at someone’s pool and notice that one end of the pool shows more liner above the water line than the other end? The walls were not leveled when they were placed. We install your pool as if it were going in our backyard. The process does require heavy equipment and will extend beyond the size of the pool for backfill, grading, etc. Be assured that we will tread as lightly as possible , and once installed, we will smooth out around your new pool as best we can. If you would like to have a quote for a concrete patio around your new pool, please let us know when discussing the details. We work with a couple local concrete contractors and we can do all the prep work , allowing them to come in and pour and finish the concrete around your new pool. Start to finish, you, the homeowner will be kept up to date as to the progress, what’s happening next, and when you can expect to be swimming in your new pool. We are there working, but you’re the boss, this is your investment , your pool, we want you to be 100% satisfied from the day we meet until the day we’re finished.
If you’re thinking of adding an inground swimming pool, you're probably wondering if a pool adds value to your home. In other words: If you sell your home, will the selling price cover most or all of the costs of a pool, or will you take a bath on your investment?
First, some intangibles. It may be that you and your family get so much enjoyment and satisfaction from your pool that recouping your investment is a moot point. Hard to put a price on summertime splashes and smiles.
That said, there are several factors that can help you determine if a swimming pool will add positive value to your home:
Real estate experts estimate that an average 14x28-foot inground pool potentially adds 5 to 8 percent to the real estate value of your home. If your property is worth $400,000, you’ll realize a boost to the value of your property of about $20,000 to $32,000.
Several other factors influence the added value of a pool. If you’re selling a house with a pool that’s been well-maintained, nicely designed, has amenities such as adjacent decks, patios and shade structures, and the surrounding area is attractively landscaped, a swimming pool could fetch more value. On the contrary, if the pool is in need of repair, isn’t that attractive or has been shoehorned into a small yard, its added value to your property likely will be diminished.
In addition to the face value of installing a swimming pool, there are annual costs associated with a swimming pool that can influence its value to your home — and your time.
Annual maintenance for pool cleaning and adjusting chemicals runs $500 to $1,000 per year if you do the work yourself, and the cost varies depending on where you live. If you’re in a warm climate and use your pool throughout most of the year, you’ll have more upkeep. In colder climates, you’ll be shutting down your pool for part of the year.
Professional pool services will clean your pool and filters and adjust chemicals for $80 to $150 per month, depending on the size of your pool and how detailed the services are. Pros charge $150 to $300 for opening up a pool at the beginning of the swim season and the same amount for closing down and winterizing your pool at the end of the year. Don't worry, we'll go over everything you need to know to take care of most of the pool maintenance yourself, and the first year closing your pool is provided by us, FREE OF CHARGE
Electricity costs for running a circulating pool pump costs about $300 per year. Heating a pool can add $500 to $800 to your annual utility bills.
Homeowners insurance typically covers “other structures” such as pools, but if you plan to install a pool you should check with your insurance agent about increasing your liability coverage. You can mitigate insurance costs — and add a significant measure of safety — if your pool is protected by childproof fencing and locked gates.

This varies due to many factors. Do you want a chlorine pool? A salt water pool? What size pool do you want. Is the site location level, or does it require significant prep work. Do you want a liner pool or fiberglass? Do you want a slide, a diving board, or a heater? Just the 3 items mentioned prior can add as much as 8-9 thousand dollars just to purchase. Most pools range from 45k-100k depending on size and features.
Absolutely, we are fully insured and will gladly provide you with a copy of our policy if you desire
We will do 90% of the labor involved. We sub out the excavation of the pool dig to extremely experienced excavators. This is one of the most important steps in providing a quality install. If you choose to have a concrete patio added, as mentioned above, we will do all the prep work and sub the actual pour and finish to local concrete finishers.
Absolutely not. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. I hate when contractors start a job, work for two days and you don't see them again for a week. THAT'S NOT US. Once we start your pool, we will be working on ONLY your pool until it is finished. I am a full time Firefighter and Paramedic and my work schedule is 24 hrs on , 48 hrs off. If I'm not working at the Fire Department, and weather allows, We'll be there working on your pool. Even with this schedule, Expect 10-14 days for a complete install.
No, most of the time it will be myself, my son , and a Fire Department buddy helping on the job. I don't want to be big, I feel that sometimes when you get too big, you can lose focus on what truly matters - CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I truly want you 100% happy from start to finish. We will not book more jobs than we can handle in one summer. We service a radius of about 40 miles from Glenford, Ohio. Including Glenford, Somerset, Thornville, Mt Perry, Lancaster, Newark, Zanesville and many more.
This varies from county to county or Township to Township. Check to see if your county or Township has zoning. If you have zoning, there's a good chance you'll need a permit. Even if you don't have zoning, call your county engineers department to see if a permit is required
